Root Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & Install CWM Recovery


Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the latest Android flagship from Samsung and It have been launched successfully in so many countries. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with awesome specifications and it’s available in 32 and 64 GB model. Galaxy Note 3 is large phone having a 5.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1920 x 1080, it comes with a 13 MP rear camera and 3 GB of RAM. If you have recently bought a Galaxy Note 3 and wants to Root it and Install CWM recovery for further enjoyment of the Android then there’s a quick solution for you!

Thanks to the various XDA members who made this rooting step easily and it will not take more than 5 minutes. Rooting Samsung Galaxy Note 3 can make you able to install Custom ROMs and scripts on it. icon biggrin Root Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & Install CWM Recovery Note: Rooting your Galaxy Note 3 will void its warranty and if you want to root your Note 3 then proceed with the article and we’re not responsible for any kind of damage to your phone.

Requirements:

  • Turn on USB Debugging Mode on your Note 3. Navigate to Settings> General > Developer option.
  • Backup all of your data like contacts, files, images, music etc.
  • Download all of the Samsung USB Drivers.

Root Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & Install CWM Recovery

  1. Download the CWM Recovery File. For N900(link), for N9005(link)
  2. Download this ODIN file (link) and extract it into your PC
  3. Now Download this SuperSU file (link) and transfer it to your SD card
  4. Now after completing all of the above steps Power off your phone and then press Home + Volume down + Power button to get your phone into the download mode. then press Volume Up button to continue.
  5. Now Connect you Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to the PC via Micro USB Cable, and launch the ODIN app that we’ve downloaded and you will see a Blue bar in the top left.
  6. Now click on PDA and select the CWM file that you’ve downloaded in step 1,Note: Please make sure you’ve downloaded the file in accordance to your Note 3 Model.
  7. Now mAke sure that ‘re-partition’ Box is unchecked, now click on Start.
  8. Now your Note 3 will restart and it have CWM recovery Installed now. icon biggrin Root Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & Install CWM Recovery

Rooting the Note 3

Now the rooting part comes, for rooting Samsung Galaxy Note 3 you should have CWM recovery installed and we have already installed it!
  1. Now turn off your Note 3 again and press Home + Volume Up + Power button to get into the recovery mode.
  2. now navigate with volume buttons and select the ‘Install Zip’ option with power button and then select ‘Choose Zip from SD card’, and select the SuperSU file that we’ve downloaded in Step 3 of the above CWM installation procedure.
  3. Now return to the main menu of the Recovery and Select Reboot Now.
  4. And your Note 3 is successfully rooted you can confirm it by the presence of SuperSU app.
